ifilm Dari language to be launched

Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting’s World Service says a new TV channel affiliated to ifilm is set to be launched in the Dari language.

ifilm reported on Thursday that Peyman Jebelli who is head of the IRIB's World Service said in a presser that “due to high achievement of ifilm network, a new channel offshoot is scheduled to kick off in the Dari language.   

He also said the global broadcaster currently catering to Arabic and English speaking audiences promotes "the Iranian-Islamic lifestyle."

Dari Persian is a variety of the Persian language spoken in Afghanistan.
